The Save McMillan Action Coalition along with Friends of McMillan Park invite you to an art party celebrating the 70th anniversary of the end of World Ward II at McMillan Park.

A large fence was put around our McMillan Park public space after WW2 started to prevent sabotage by the axis powers.

The Army Corps of Engineers said they would take it down after the war, it still hasn't happened. We will use the fence as a message board to save Mcmillan Park which is being threatened by a humongous hardscape privatization scheme.

On Saturday, August 15, 2015, the 70th anniversary of the end of WW2, McMillan Park supporters made signs of dissent to the destruction and privatization our this very special public space.

This is your McMillan Park -- continue to dissent -- show your signs of love -- set out on this fence which should have been torn down decades ago!
